Blacktop Materials Engineering provides construction materials testing services to support civil construction, road construction, mining, local government and infrastructure projects throughout Geraldton, the Midwest and regional Western Australia. Our Management and Director team brings more than 40 years of industry experience, with extensive involvement supporting major construction projects throughout Western Australia since 2000.

Blacktop Materials Engineering is a NATA Accredited Construction Materials Testing Laboratory providing soil testing, aggregate testing, concrete testing and field-testing services throughout Geraldton, the Midwest and regional Western Australia. We support civil construction, road construction, mining, local government and infrastructure projects using Australian Standards and Main Roads Western Australia test methods.

  Field Testing

We provide a range of field testing services including compaction control using Nuclear Density Meters and penetrometers, aggregate seal testing for resealing works, and sampling of fresh concrete for slump and compressive strength testing.
